Aspen Group was officially launched The Umbrella Sharing Initiative by the Chief Minister of Penang, YAB. Chow Kon Yeow.

Also present to grace the event is the Mayor of Penang Island City Council, Ybhg. Dato' Ar. Yew Tung Seang.

This initiative was kicked off on 3rd July 2018 when umbrella stands were placed at 12 Aspen Groups bus stops around Penang Island.

The objective of this initiative is simply to shelter the people on the street to stay dry or shaded between their destination.
